Neptune Lines congratulates record breaking athletes Emmanuel Karalis and Maria Magkoulia

Neptune Lines is proud for its young athletes, 18-years old, pole vaulter Emmanouel Karalis and 16-years old shot putter Maria Magkoulia.

Emmanuel cleared world indoor U20 record of 5.78m at Greek Indoor Championships and won a ticket for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham from 1-4 March. The Greek champion has improved the Pan-Hellenic record for teens twice: in his jump at 5.71m he broke the record in closed track, and with this 5.78m he set the absolute record.

As for talented Maria from the island of Kalymnos, she won the gold medal at the Balkan Indoor U20 Championships, which took place in Sofia last Sunday. Maria is the first Greek athlete to ever win a gold medal in shot put at the Balkan Indoor Championships, and the first time that Greece ever takes part in the  Balkan Championship in shot putting.

All of us at Neptune Lines congratulate the Greek athletes on another great performance and wish their future to be filled with many more victories to celebrate. Keep reaching for the stars!
