| A programme has been initiated for the coating of newer vessels in the fleet, with a silicon based fouling release surface coating, that is biocide free and environmentally friendly. |
| Neptune Lines’ newbuildings equipped with slow speed engines rather than medium speed engines, as these reduce consumption and CO2 emissions. |
| The Company is also investigating the use of an energy saving device to improve hull and propeller efficiency and reduce consumption and emission levels. |
| Company procedures include recycling and reduction of paper consumption through proper use of software so that the target of a paperless organization can be achieved. |
