Neptune Lines care program for seafarers and their families

In Neptune Lines, our people have always been our first priority, and are the driving force and key contributor to our success.

Neptune Lines has been closely monitoring the ever-evolving situation in Ukraine and the Black Sea region. As our Ukrainian seafarers are an integral part of the Neptune Lines family, we created a care program, offering the possibility to regular Neptune Lines’ officers and crew, as well as their immediate family members to be accommodated in Greece for an initial period of 90 days.

Through our program we ensure a safe passage for our seafarers and their families to Greece, providing accommodation, needed provisions, medical screening, and psychological support. Through volunteers amongst our office employees in Piraeus, we are in regular contact with the families already here, aiming to ensure a safe, warm and welcoming environment.

Melina Travlos, Chair of the Board of Neptune Lines and Neptune Dry, made the following statement:

“For all of us at Neptune, our people are our priority and they are at the heart of our Group’s ecosystem. I would like to express my compassion and solidarity to our suffering seafarers and their families. I personally pledge to support them, together with my team here in Greece, by creating a safe and healthy environment, in an effort to alleviate their pain. As members of the extended Neptune family, we stand by their side".
