A significant milestone was achieved recently for the Genesis Project with the steel-cutting ceremony for MW467-1, the first vessel under our strategic fleet enhancement.

Held at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. in Fujian, China, on September 5, 2024, the event marked the official commencement of construction. It was attended by key executives from both companies and project partners.

Part of Neptune Lines’ strategic fleet expansion, these 4200 CEU dual-fuel next-generation vessels will enhance cargo capacity by 36% compared to the current core fleet and significantly reduce emissions. Designed to use hybrid energy systems and capable of running on LNG or VLSFO, the vessels align with Neptune Lines’ commitment to sustainability. Delivery of the first vessel is set for 2026.
